    Continuous Sprint Planning

    Artifacts #

    What this step produces.

    Sprint Goal #

A single short statement of what the sprint should achieve. It gives the team a common focus and lets them trade scope without losing the purpose.

    Sprint Backlog #

The set of backlog items the team commits to for the current sprint, with the tasks needed to finish them. It is the team's own plan for the sprint.

    Sprint Capacity Plan #

An estimate of how much work the team can realistically take on in the coming sprint, given availability, leave and other commitments. It keeps the sprint goal achievable.

    Techniques #

    Techniques used in this step.

    Continuous Sprint Planning #

Planning is adjusted throughout the sprint rather than fixed once at the start. The team keeps the plan current as new information and changes appear.

    Release Burn-up Chart #

A chart showing completed work growing over time against the total scope line. It shows progress toward a release and how scope changes affect the finish date.
