    Trace Requirements

    Artifacts #

    What this step produces.

    Requirements Traceability Matrix #

A table linking each requirement to its source, deliverable and test. It shows what is covered and helps assess the impact of changes.

    Traceability Coverage Report #

A report showing which requirements are linked to design, build and test items, and which are not. It reveals uncovered requirements and work with no requirement behind it.

    Techniques #

    Techniques used in this step.

    Traceability Coverage Analysis #

Checking how completely requirements are traced forward to deliverables and tests and back to their source. It is used to find gaps before they become missed scope.

Explained in this article: Bidirectional Traceability · Vertical Traceability · Orphan Detection
